Masters Concentration in Israel Education

In partnership with the iCenter, AJU offers a Masters Concentration in Israel Education. Students in the Graduate Center for Jewish Education, Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, and Graduate School of Nonprofit Management may apply to be iFellows and earn a Certificate in Israel Education. Program components include:

Cohort Learning Framework

iFellows participate in three 4-day seminars at the iCenter in Chicago



An Israeli cohort participates in the seminars along with the American students, enabling an ongoing mifgash between American and Israeli participants


Individualized Mentoring

iFellows are paired with a professional mentor and meet monthly throughout the program


Israel Learning Experience

A pre-approved individualized learning experience in Israel with a subsidy of up to $3,000


Student Work

Students choose a topic of interest in Israel education to research and write a 5-7 page analytic paper and develop a creative educational project for use in the field
